Term 4 Timetable Released!

Updated: Sep 20, 2023

From the head coach Alex

Term 4 2023 Timetable is now available for booking

Last term all of our kids classes Monday though Friday were completely booked out, so to avoid disappointment we highly recommend booking in ASAP. Once we hit our class capacity we can not squeeze anyone else in!

We want your reason to choose us to be our high quality classes

We accomplish this by

- Aiming for ratios of 1 instructor to 8 students ( lowest ratios for parkour in NSW that we know of! )

- Only hiring staff who truly wish to improve as instructors and people - Providing mentorship to all levels

- Aiming to teach Risk assessment, Risk management, Resistance to peer pressure, Consent training, Physical and mental Resilience and above all a place to feel like they belong. If you have any feedback for our classes or coaches we want to hear it, the coaches want to hear it. Please send us anonymous feedback here. Raise in prices Due to increasing costs we have been forced to raise our prices starting term 4 2024. This is made up of a 220% increase in building outgoings, 10% rent increase and a 15% increase in award pay rates for staff in our industry. Because of this we have raised most of our class prices by 17.5% ( $200 - $235 ) and up to 29% for pre-school parkour ($170 - $220 ) to bring it in line with our current class costs. As the head coach and owner this genuinely hurts, i truly wish to improve as many peoples lives through parkour as possible and hate making it more expensive. At the same time if we don't change our gym will cease running.

We thank you for your continued support during these difficult times.

Outdoor social training

This will be held at civic park in town! Please note that these are informal non bookable events with no supervision, instruction or liability. Just the whole community getting together for jumps and training. Our recommendation is that if you don't feel comfortable leaving The student in the city alone for the day then they are not ready to join this event.

Free strength training!

Everyone is encouraged to attend. Parents, friends and family all welcome! Our Thursday strength is as hard or easy as you wish to make it. Our oldest member was in his 50's and he was doing pushups on walls and doing assisted squats. We can accommodate for any level as long as you are willing to try. We have the official indoor strength and the unofficial outdoor community run strength that is 18+Yrs in civic park. Join our FB group "Newcastle parkour and freerunning" for the 18+ strength to see if anyone is in!

Other

Common question

When are they ready to move up a class? We individually assess students throughout the term and will let them know directly when they are ready to move up. The levels are as follows; kids basics > Pre-teen basics > Pre-teen intermediate > Comp team > Open session ( self directed training )

Our goal is to train students so they can train themselves and develop a love for movement so they no longer need a coach!

Lastly, but most importantly

Thank you for supporting our coaches to do the job that we all genuinely love, and enabling me to have the resources to train our students into our next community leaders and teachers. We will see you this school holidays or term 1.

Enjoy the holidays!
